A Web Proxy is a kind of intermediary, or alternates, which receives web requests from computers and makes connections based on its own IP address.

This has the advantage that the computers behind the proxy will be disguised. The target machine, which receives the requests, provides only the IP address of the proxy host.

In addition to disguising the IP address provides a web proxy also additional security features.
